AI-powered internal workspace

One internal workspace for the tools users rely on every day.

Scisbo Dashboard combines an AI assistant, private cloud storage, Kanban boards, social connections, messaging access, and user settings in one modular platform.

Product tour

A closer look at the interface

The dashboard brings AI, files, planning, relationships, messaging, and account controls into one consistent workspace.

The challenge

The problem that needed solving

Before

Useful internal tools often become a collection of disconnected applications. Users repeat authentication, lose context between files and tasks, manage relationships in separate systems, and have no consistent place to ask for AI-assisted help.

The approach

Scisbo Dashboard creates a shared product shell with centralized identity and a consistent navigation model. Each capability remains independently maintainable, while users experience AI, storage, boards, friends, messaging, and settings as one connected workspace.

The solution

A connected workspace without a monolithic backend.

The interface feels like one product, but its backend responsibilities are separated into focused Spring Boot services that communicate through APIs, WebSockets, and Kafka events.

01

Contextual AI assistant

A Spring AI-powered assistant supports multi-turn conversations and returns useful structured results inside the workspace instead of sending users to a separate AI tool.

02

Private cloud storage

Users can organize, upload, and access files from their account while storage responsibilities stay isolated behind a dedicated platform capability.

03

Kanban-style boards

Flexible boards, columns, and cards turn ideas and ongoing work into a visual workflow that is easy to review and update.

04

Friends and presence

A platform-level friends system manages relationships once and shares those connections with Scisbo Messaging for direct conversations.

05

Messaging integration

The dashboard provides a direct path into the standalone chat application while preserving the user's session, identity, and social graph.

06

Account and preferences

Profile, security, and experience settings give users one place to manage how their identity works across Scisbo products.

What was built

Work delivered

  • React and Vite dashboard architecture with responsive product interfaces
  • Spring Boot microservices for dashboard, AI, messages, groups, and WebSockets
  • Spring AI integration for conversational assistance and structured tool output
  • Kafka-driven service events and Redis-backed caching
  • Centralized authentication shared with Scisbo Messaging

The outcome

What the product changes

  • Users move between planning, files, AI assistance, and communication without leaving the platform.

  • Centralized authentication gives the dashboard and messaging app one consistent identity layer.

  • Service boundaries allow storage, AI, messaging, groups, and real-time delivery to evolve independently.

  • Kafka events and Redis caching reduce direct coupling while keeping frequently accessed state responsive.
